Academic Background
Urvashee Domun brilliantly succeeded her secondary education and was ranked among laureates, stood 4th nationally, Arts Side in Higher School Certificate and was awarded the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam National Scholarship by the Government of Mauritius in 2007.She read law at the University of Mauritius and graduated with an LLB (Hons) degree in 2011. She succeeded her vocational law examination at the Council for Vocational Legal Education Mauritius in her first attempt in 2012 and undertook one year pupillage under the guidance of Senior Attorney, Mr Manogaran Mardemootoo at Mardemooo Solicitors, now Dentons Mauritius LLP. She sworn in as Attorney at Law before the Supreme Court of Mauritius in December 2013. In 2019, she followed the UK Solicitor Course, QLTS (Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme) in London, UK to perfect her skills as a solicitor and to gain international exposure in law.
